Kings Center wall fixed so kids can play!
Thursday, December 9th, 2010The Kings Center, located in Frankfort, Kentucky, provides children and teenagers with academic, cultural, and social opportunities they might not otherwise be given. A wall in the Kings Center backyard was crumbling and posed a safety hazard to the children until Go Frankfort, Inc., a local volunteer group, found local professionals to volunteer to fix the problem . Qk4 structural engineer Roger Wade drew up the plans for the building permit. Local companies that volunteered their services and materials include a construction company (Built by Lee) and a concrete company (Harrod Concrete). With the new wall in place, The Kings Center backyard is no longer a safety hazard, and will once again give the center options for outdoor recreational activity.
Go Frankfort, Inc., started as a group of friends with a desire to make a difference in Franklin County, Kentucky. Qk4 is a proud sponsor and supporter of Go Frankfort, Inc.
