Qk4’s US 68/KY 80 through Land Between the Lakes project was a regional Americaâs Transportation Awards winner in the Innovative Management/Medium Project category and, as such, was one of 40 projects that competed at the national level in 2011.Â
On the regional level, the project was selected because it satisfied unique requirements and created improved visitor access, context-sensitive design, and a hike-and-bike trail through Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. KYTC, Rogerâs Group Contractor, and Qk4 worked together to bring in this project under budget and on time, using innovative management techniques.
