Must have Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with 6-10+ years preferred experience of highway drainage design. KY PE licensure preferred. Designs drainage systems that are efficient and cost effective. Knowledgeable of local and state standards relating to drainage systems. Meets with clients and visits site to gain understanding of project requirements and assures client satisfaction throughout the life of the project. Prepares and reviews technical reports, drawings, and other documents related to assigned projects. Plans drainage systems using computer modeling software. Collaborates with internal teams.

B.S.C.E. degree from an accredited university and PE Certification are required. Ideal candidate will have between 6-10+ years experience working on TDOT roadway design and/or local government roadway design projects.
