After graduating from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry, Andrea began her career at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet as a chemist in the Division of Materials Laboratory in Frankfort, Ky. In 2001, she transferred to the KYTC District 5 Office in Louisville to become their Public Information Officer. Andrea was involved in all aspects of our highways from project development and construction to maintenance and traffic operations. You may remember seeing her on the news communicating KY Transportation Cabinet updates to the public.
