GIS Specialist
Office Location: Louisville, KY
Qk4 seeks an experienced and talented GIS Specialist to join our Planning team. If you enjoy collaborating with others, here is your opportunity to work in a great atmosphere with seasoned peers and professionals.
- Leverage geospatial and other data analysis and visualization technologies in support of our core services. Apply professional judgement, technical skills and knowledge in the analysis of GIS information.
- Plan, design and implement GIS projects.
- Generate custom maps and analysis.
- Work with others to ensure GIS and other data deliverables meet or exceed our clients’ expectations.
- Collaborate with project team members and client representatives and agencies to resolve project complexities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team. Share knowledge and mentor staff with less GIS proficiency.
- Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Planning or similar degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ArcGIS, other applicable GIS software products and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, in developing the above-listed tasks.
- Must be detail oriented, with proven ability to manage time and meet project deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating to at levels in an open and professional environment.
