Job Responsibilities

Assist in managing roadway design production for contracts with our DOT partners throughout the region
Plan, design, and analyze data on transportation design projects (roads, pedestrian trails, sidewalks, etc.)
Roadway design calculations in accordance with current design standards and Agencies (AASHTO, KYTC, TDOT, INDOT, GDOT)
Work in a team environment to develop innovative and cost effective designs and solutions for our clients
Assist with client relations and marketing efforts

Qualifications

Requires 6-10+ years of engineering design experience on roads and other transportation facilities
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Tennessee (or with the ability to gain licensure within 90-days)
Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and Geopak
Excellent communication and soft skills
Ability to work well with others, share workloads, and lead other team members. Facilitator of quality work product from the roadway design team
Dedication to deadlines and superior attention to details
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
