Qk4, Inc., a highly ranked Engineering and Planning firm, is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Louisville, KY Team. Must have Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 6-10+ years’ experience working in traffic forecasting, simulation, demand modeling, or related services. Kentucky PE licensure and other states preferred. Successful candidates will be proficient in traffic analysis software applications such as HCS, VISSIM and others, as well as overall project management skills, and ready to be a part of an amazing team!

  • Prepares traffic forecasting/projections; microsimulation and macro traffic modeling; traffic impact studies; traffic data collection; traffic analysis; traffic signal and signing/pavement marking designs, signal timing plans, etc.
  • Meets with clients and visits site to gain understanding of project requirements and assures client satisfaction throughout the life of the project. Clients can include private and public entities.
  • Work in a team environment to develop innovative and cost-effective designs and solutions for our clients.
  • Assist with client relations and marketing efforts.

  • Requires 6-10 years of traffic analysis experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer licensure in Kentucky and other states preferred.
  • Proficiency with HCS, VISSIM and other traffic analysis applications.
  • Ability to work well with others, internal teams and clients using strong communication and organizational skills.
