The reconstruction of the Kennedy Interchange in downtown Louisville, Kentucky is the largest of six sections of the Louisville Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project (LSIORBP). Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Qk4 was started in 1974. The firm also maintains offices in Frankfort, Kentucky; New Albany, Indiana; Atlanta, Georgia; St. Albans, West Virginia; Bristol, Tennessee; and Ormond Beach, Florida. The firm’s staff of 100 consists of civil and structural engineers, planners, architects, landscape architects, environmental specialists, land surveyors and right-of-way acquisitions specialists.

Qk4 is a multi-disciplinary firm providing transportation, water, wastewater, storm water, structural and site engineering; surveying; environmental studies; planning; architectural services; and landscape architectural services to both the public and private clients.
